Good morning, creators. ☀️ It's Day 8 — and it's New York Comic Con Day 1. Booth 1771 opens this morning at the Javits Center, Tenacious Toys hosting the entire booth and the Tenacious Collective. Four days of toys, music, and community start right now. Let's get into it.
New Epic Toy Sound releases
War Journal (Gun Beat) — Artetoyscol feat. Epic Toy Sound — out now. The 100% human-made hip-hop instrumental that dropped October 6 — zero AI, Content ID live, built for creators. Stream it everywhere here.
The Darkest Reign, Vol. I — Darc Reign — out now. Three tracks of dark phonk — "Like a Shadow," "Smoke Screen," "Off the Deep" — from the man who shoots the dark corner of the shelf and now scores it too. Horror season never sounded this good.
Yesterday's toy photography, straight from the community
The big one: Tenacious Toys announced that the legendary Sucklord is the first artist signing at NYCC — booth 1771, today at 3pm. For the uninitiated: the Sucklord is bootleg-art-toy royalty, the intergalactic supervillain behind the Suckadelic universe, and a fixture of the indie toy scene for over two decades. First signing of the con. Be there.
And the booth build itself — Tenacious Toys asking the question yesterday: "Can one booth handle this much awesome?" Day one of setup, "from nothing to something, NYCC style." The answer, it turns out, is yes.
Over in horror town, Manyakfunks dropped a chilling carousel — "Behind every cage is a hunger waiting to be fed." Manyakfunks has owned October all month: the Ghostface and Pennywise frames, the Extreme-Sets tournament, and his own 8-track horror soundscape Haunt Your Reels: Monster Within. If you're scoring Halloween content, start with his catalog.
And Darc Reign closed yesterday with the Darkest Knight himself — Medicom's Batman Azrael in an Extreme Sets diorama, moving "in the shadows," set to his own "Like a Shadow" from The Darkest Reign, Vol. I. Azrael, the avenging angel of the Knightfall saga, has rarely looked this cinematic. The track is below — press play.
Listen: Like a Shadow — Darc Reign
From The Darkest Reign, Vol. I — the sound of yesterday's frames, and today's booth.

Every track here is produced by @myboyronnied of @zillioninstrumentals — original music for the toy photography community, made to be used.
See it in person: New York Comic Con, October 8–11 — booth 1771, hosted by Tenacious Toys. Sucklord signs today at 3pm. Follow @epictoysound and @tenacioustoys on Instagram and Facebook for live floor updates all weekend — and toysandbeats.com for everything in one place. One love. ✌️
